Total Project Fee: $5,000

Project Timeline: ~30 days (based on timely content delivery)

1. Project Description

Digital Worx Hub, Steve Remy, will design and develop a historical archive website highlighting Northern California velodromes. The site will be built using Wix Studio, featuring a clean, modern, historically inspired design and approximately 25 pages, including a home page, velodrome timeline system, 21 velodrome pages, an About page, and a Links page.

Steve Remy will also provide post-launch training and remain available as an editor for ongoing support.

2. Scope of Work

The project includes:

• Custom Wix Studio website build

• ~25 pages built from a consistent template

• Timeline navigation system

• Content import from all provided archives

• Domain connection assistance

• Mobile optimization

• Internal SEO setup

• Security certificate check

• One training session upon completion

• Two revision rounds (mid-project + final)

Additional revisions or new features may require a separate agreement.

3. Timeline

Estimated completion is 30 days, beginning once all required content is submitted by the client. Delays in providing content may extend the timeline.

4. Payment Terms

The total project fee is $5,000, paid in three stages:

• $2,500 – Deposit due at contract signing

• $1,500 – Mid-Project payment (around Day 15)

• $1,000 – Final payment due before handoff

Payments are tied to project milestones, not strict calendar dates.All payments are non-refundable once each project phase begins.

Payment Terms: The total project fee for this website build is $5,000 USD, billed in three milestone-based payments as follows:

1. Initial Deposit – $2,500 (50%)Due at the time this agreement is signed. Work will not begin until the deposit has been received.This deposit is non-refundable and secures project scheduling.

2. Mid-Project Payment – $1,500 (30%)Due upon completion of approximately half of the project deliverables, which includes the core structure, initial page layouts, and preliminary content placement. Work will pause if this payment is not received within 5 business days of invoice.

3. Final Payment – $1,000 (20%)Due upon project completion and prior to handing over ownership, admin access, or publishing the final site. Once final payment is made, all rights to the website and associated deliverables transfer to the client.

Milestone-Based Billing - Payments are tied to project progress, not calendar dates. If client delays content delivery, feedback, or approvals, the payment schedule may shift accordingly.

Failure to Pay - If any payment is late by more than 10 business days, Digital Worx Hub reserves the right to pause all work until the account is current.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to provide:

• All historical materials, text, and photos

• Access to any needed accounts (if applicable)

• Timely communication and approvals

• A chosen domain (Digital Worx Hub can assist with selection)

Any delay in client deliverables may delay the final completion date.

6. Revisions

This project includes:

• One revision round at the halfway point

• One final revision round before launch

Additional revisions may incur additional cost.

7. Ownership & Handoff

Upon final payment:

• Full ownership of the website is transferred to the client

• Digital Worx Hub retains the right to feature the project in portfolios and marketing

• The contractor remains as an optional editor for continued support

8. Cancellation Policy

If the client cancels the project:

• The initial $2,500 deposit is non-refundable

• Work completed beyond the deposit will be billed according to the milestone schedule

• No refunds will be issued for completed phases

9. Liability

Digital Worx Hub, Steve Remy, is not responsible for hosting outages, third-party service issues, future Wix changes, or errors caused by client edits after handoff but will work with client to fix any of the above.

10. Agreement

By signing below, the client acknowledges they have read and agree to the terms of this contract, and authorizes Digital Worx Hub, Steve Remy, to begin work upon receipt of the initial deposit. An invoice for payment instructions will follow within 24 hours of acceptance of this contract.
